Date: 24 August 2000
Location: 50 Street and 49 Avenue on the NW corner.
Description: Obelisk, approximately 10 feet high and 5 feet at the base. Facing SE.
Construction: Split and shaped field rocks imbedded in concrete with a black granite plaque on the SE facing side.

Comments: This is an excellent memorial and well maintained. The names
of those who paid the supreme sacrifice are not displayed on the monument.
They are enshrined on a plaque inside the Royal Canadian Legion premises
across the street.
